If you love nature and you want to have stunning and really breathtaking views that change every few moments, visit Western Canada and Southern Alaska as we did during the past 16 days.
After an 11-hour flight to Calgary, we took a guided tour through four of the National Parks in the Rocky Mountains. That journey ended at Vancouver. Two days later we went on board of the NORWEGIAN SUN for a seven-day cruise which ended at Anchorage / Alaska. We spent relaxing days on the sea and made shore excursions from the ports of Ketchikan, Juneau, and Skagway.
Our way back home was long and rather tiresome, of course. Flights from Anchorage to Houston (Texas), then from Houston to Munich (Germany) and at last from Munich to Dresden, our hometown. 20 hours on three different aircrafts and some more hours at the airports. But we don't complain - what we saw and experienced was absolutely worth it.
